NAPLAN is Australia’s National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy. Year 7 is the third of the four assessed year levels. It covers reading, writing, conventions of language (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and numeracy, with a non-calculator section and a calculator-allowed section in Numeracy.
